Red Pine Pinus Resinosa • Full sun The roots of the Red PIne grow very deep, which makes the tree strong and able to withstand fierce winds. The trunks are slender and straight and since the wood is very strong, it is used for structural timber. It is called a “Red” Pine because it’s bark is reddish or pink.
